Segments¶
Each Stripboard contains two or more Segments, a Boneyard Segment, and at least one Default Segment. You can use Segments to divide your Strips into different workstreams or buckets.
Common uses of Segments might include scheduling concurrent 1st and 2nd Unit work, scheduling episode blocks, or scheduling pre-production, principal photography, and post-production blocks.
Each Segment has a Start Date that identifies the expected first day any scheduled Strips in that Segment will be working. Go to Calendar for more about start dates.
The Boneyard Segment is unique and is commonly used to archive or “trash” Strips that may be re-used later. No Strips in the Boneyard are considered scheduled, and it ignores the Start Date.
