Red Flag Manager
- New Feature: Add and manage Red Flags across various date ranges on the calendar to quickly identify scheduling conflicts. Red Flags are global across boards and included in conflict reports.
- Dedicated Tab: Access the Red Flag Manager from its dedicated tab.
- Calendar Integration: Red Flags appear on the calendar, with consecutive days displayed as date ranges and single days as individual line items.
- Customization Options: Select Red Flag types, add notes, associate flags with specific elements, and choose flag colors during initial creation or editing.
- Shortcut Features: Hold ‘Shift’ to select spans of days or CTRL/CMD for multiple individual days. Right-click on the calendar to add Red Flags directly.
- Conflict Notification: Conflicts are highlighted with warning icons visible across MMS 10, including headers, calendar tabs, elements tabs, and DOOD timelines.

International Date Format
- New Feature: You can now choose your preferred date format, bringing consistency to your reports and calendars. This update is perfect for anyone working with international schedules, making it easier to stay aligned across time zones.
- Customization: Through system preferences, you can quickly toggle between formats as you work on different schedules. This is a global setting and applies to all dates throughout the application.

Calendar Report
- New Report: Generate and share comprehensive reports that effectively replicate what's on your calendar for distribution.
- Customization: Further customize your calendar report by clicking "Edit" to modify the Report Name, filter strips by Category, and enable or disable calendar sections.
- Export Options: Update layout settings and choose to export as PDF or print your report.

Recently Opened Schedules
- Quickly access recently opened schedules through the File Menu without returning to the main menu.

- Drag and drop Events across days to update dates.

- Build-in category elements, like sets or locations, can now link to any other category element (e.g., set dressing or props).
- Relationships, such as sets always linked to certain props, are automatically reflected across all related areas.

- Performance Improvements for macOS
- We've resolved a performance issue affecting Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1, M2, and newer ARM-based). The application is now built as a "universal" version, supporting both ARM64 and x64 architectures, ensuring smoother performance on all macOS devices. This release includes updates to the build process that combine both ARM64 and x64 versions before notarization, leading to improved compatibility and performance on Apple Silicon devices.

- Split Screen Viewing
- View the Stripboard side-by-side with the Breakdown screen for streamlined navigation.
- Cross-compare these two functionalities at once.
- Add Event —Start Date by Default
- When adding an Event, if there are no Day Breaks for the current Segment, the system uses the Start Date as the default option for From and To dates.
- Breakdown Sheet Enhancements: Linking Multiple Elements, Hiding Unused Categories, and Adding Events from Elements
Find an improved workflow with fewer clicks from your Breakdown Sheet:
- Select multiple Elements at once in a Category dropdown.
- Hide unused Categories from Breakdown by toggling the HIDE EMPTY option in the screen header.
- Add Events from Elements to help you keep track of important project-related occurrences that affect an Element’s availability without navigating away from where you are working.
- Stripboard Interface Improvements
- Customize your column widths to more easily review and differentiate between selected or non-selected Strips by selecting Stripboard Strip Designer from the Design menu
- Report Design and Layout Updates
- Choose to show or hide report names, adjust font sizes, change Strips’ colors, reduce the size of Strips’ font, and access page break options to tailor your reports. Go to the Reports tab and select the Layout dropdown. Toggle to select your choices, Show Report Name and Show & Segment.
- Element List Report
- Run the Element List Report to get into the details of your project’s Elements, like cast members, props, and vehicles, within a selected Category. To access this report, go to the Reports tab. Select Element Details in the left-side menu.

- Export to Movie Magic Scheduling 6 (MMS6)
- Export data from Movie Magic Scheduling 10 (MMS10) files for use in MMS6 so you can collaborate or finish work in MMS6.
- MMS6 Keyboard Shortcuts
- Use the same keyboard shortcuts from MMS6 in MMS10. Find a guide in the operating system menu.
- One-line Schedule Updates
- The One-line Schedule displays all Strips in the selected Stripboard and Segment with a single horizontal Strip per Breakdown Sheet, Banner, and day-break. Now, you can choose to have more than one horizontal Strip in a stacked display.
- Edit Strip Color in the Strip Designer
- View Strip colors imported from MMS6 and edit them as needed.
- Strips Added to Calendar
- Access Strips from the Calendar. The Calendar tab gives a 30-day view of the planned work so you can edit key dates, manage off days, and handle Events that may affect Elements. With Strips available, you can more easily find potential conflicts.
- Breakdown Sheet Improvements and Added Functionality
- Work with customizable field arrangement and field sizing.
- Use a new option to show or hide the Episode field.
- You have the flexibility to remove Hidden Categories from the display.
- Add multiple Elements per category using the checkboxes if needed.
- Split-screen for Stripboard and Breakdown Screens
- Show the Stripboard and Breakdown screens in a split-screen arrangement to review both together.
- Report Layout Options
- Use the layout designer to adjust font sizing and page breaks for your reporting.
- Stripboard Display Enhancements
- The Strip resizing tool offers more display options.
- The system shades selected Strips rather than outlining them for easier reference. You also have the choice to apply custom Strip colors.
- Element Linking, Notes, and Event Creation
- Link Elements to associate components that must be grouped together.
- Add notes to an Element to make more information discoverable.
- Create an Event from an Element to connect an Element to a project-related activity that is not part of the shoot schedule, like travel or fittings, or to mark if an Element is unavailable.

- Automatic Updates
- After this update, MMS will automatically prompt you when future updates are available.
- Double-click to go to Breakdown
- You can now double click a strip to be taken to its breakdown sheet.
- Built-In Category Support in DOOD
- Built-In Categories (such as Set, Location, Unit, Episode from the Scene Header info) are now avaialble in the DOOD.
- EP Cloud Backup
- We have added a cloud backup feature to New MMS. You can have backups of your schedules stored in the EP Cloud and retrieve them on any device when you log in to MMS.
- MMS Manual
- The MMS manual is now available via https://mms-docs.ep.com/ and through the Resource Center in the app.
- Corrupt File Import Warning
- MMS will now warn you if you try to import a Legacy MMS6 file that has corrupt data (where it used to just silently fail).
- Please contact support if such a warning appears inconsistently (i.e., if the file opens correctly in Legacy MMS6).
- Continued improvements and bug fixes
