Reports and Printing

The reports you ran in Movie Magic Scheduling 6 are all here. This page points to each one and covers the settings that change how output looks.

Day-Out-of-Days

The DOOD marks each working day with a letter code, and supports Hold and Drop/Pickup rules per element. See Day-Out-of-Days for the screen, and DOOD Rules for full definitions of each code.

Printing the DOOD

The DOOD prints and exports from the Reports tab, not from the DOOD tab. Run it as either DOOD Report or DOOD Summary, then print or export from there. See DOOD Report and DOOD Summary.

When the DOOD Does Not Match Your MMS 6 Output

Two settings account for most differences.

• The working week controls which days count as working days. This setting is shared with the Calendar. See Setting the Working Week.
• The DOOD opens in a vertical layout. Switch to the horizontal layout for wide-format printing. See Switching Between Vertical and Horizontal Layouts.

Sorting applies to the vertical view only, and a sort clears when you close the schedule. See Sorting the DOOD.

Print the whole Sub-board or only the strips you select. See Print and Download.

Report Headers

Rebuild your header in the report header designer, which draws on your Production Info. See Reports.
